Questions
Is this Portugal Portuguese or Brazilian Portuguese?
Portugal Portuguese, the way colleagues talk in an office in Lisbon or Porto. The rest of our Portuguese is mostly Brazilian, and Brazil says some of these differently: tela for ecrã, mouse for rato, mesa for secretária.
Should I say tu or você at work?
Most Portuguese offices use tu between colleagues, and this pack does too. With clients and senior people, use the person’s name or o senhor / a senhora. Você on its own can sound cold in Portugal, so leave it out until you hear others use it.
What level is it for?
A1 to B2. It starts with booking a meeting and sharing your screen, and ends with the words of project meetings: scope, stakeholders, the handover.
Is the pack really free?
Yes. A free account keeps all 49 words in your deck, with audio, an example and a note on when to use each one. No card needed.
